The NASA Area N-Scale Operating Society (NANOS) is an organization of model railroaders who meet to promote interest in N-Scale model railroading.
NANOS is a modular club. We display our modular layouts at local train shows and conventions and even libraries and schools. During the exhibitions, we invite the publilc to operate the trains on our hands-on layout.
NANOS members own both T-Trak and N-Trak modules and follow the appropriate standards for the modular systems. N-Trak and T-Trak are international N-Scale model railroad layout systems of modular units.
NANOS also has the capability to run Digitrax Digital Command Control (DCC) on the modular layouts.All members are encouraged to run trains regardless of whether they own a module themselves and are welcome to participate in all events. |
